Woody Bay Station Beer Festival 2008

What better combination than Real Ale and Steam Trains? A selection of locally brewed Real Ales will be available to sample throughout the weekend at Woody Bay Station. Supported with live outdoor music and a BARBEQUE on every day, 11am - 8pm.

Real Ales on sale at this year's festival will be -

TAWNY OWL ( COTLEIGH WIVELISCOMBE ) 3.8%
Light copper colour, a subtle hop palate which blends with the sweetness of the malt for a bitter finish.

CAVALIER ( CLEARWATER TORRINGTON ) 4.0%
Slightly darker than chestnut with a distinctive bitter flavour.

LUNDY GOLD (WIZARD ILFRACOMBE ) %


YELLOW HAMMER
( O’HANLONS EXETER ) 4.2%
A well-balanced , smooth, pale yellow ale with a predominant hop and fruit nose and taste, dry, bitter finish.

BARUM ORIGINAL ( BARUM BARNSTAPLE ) 4.4%
Amber coloured stronger ale with a good hop and malty aftertaste.

GOLDEN PIG ( COUNTRY LIFE BIDEFORD ) 4.7%
Full-bodied smooth tasting ale with crystal and wheat malts.

Live music will be from The Alchemists, Douglas E Powell, Unnamed Heroes, Lazy and Heddon Valley Stumblers Jazz.
