Due to a temporary shortage of steam traction, trains will be hauled by a Diesel. A normal steam service will continue from Tuesday 12th August.Train Departure Times

Every effort will be made to ensure operation as advertised but the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway does not guarantee service or the use of steam traction. In the event of breakdown, failure or other obstruction service may be suspended or diesel traction substituted.
