By Booking your Group Travel in advance, you can benefit from generous discounts on our standard prices. We are always happy to discuss your particular requirements and will always do our best to tailor our pricing to your needs.
We serve cream teas, sandwiches cakes and other similar light refreshments. We can provide more elaborate catering if required.
Our Station Shop provides an excellent opportunity to browse for books, gifts, or that valued reminder of time spent with us. Visitors can purchase from one of our range of exclusive L&B railway items, either as a present or souvenir.
Entry and parking is free with plenty of space on what is predominantly a level site.
Wheelchair users and helpers are very welcome on our trains and our Guards are always on hand and trained to provide assistance.
Our toilets are especially designed with wheelchair users in mind.
How to Book
We are pleased to accept early bookings and will be happy to discuss arrangements for any planned holiday trips as far in advance as you require.
Whatever the situation we will do our very best to secure the dates and times you require to accommodate your party. But please do try to book at least a week in advance of travel, and earlier if possible.

All bookings are treated as provisional until a £25 deposit has been received. The deposit must be received within 7 days of booking or the order will be cancelled without notice.
The client must inform the Railway of the anticipated group numbers and required train not less than 7 days before the date of travel.
Final numbers must be given to the L&B at least 48 hours prior to the booked date. The amount payable by the client will be calculated on this final number or who actually attend, whichever is the greatest.
Payment of the remaining balance is due on the day of travel unless invoicing or credit has been prearranged before the travel date. Where credit is agreed the client should pay within 28 days of the invoice.
Group Discount cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or voucher and can only be used to purchase train tickets.
Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
The deposit is not refundable, although it may be possible to transfer the booking to another date. An administration fee of £5 may be charged.
Full payment will be required unless 7 days notice of cancellation is given in writing.
The Party Organiser will be held responsible for any damages caused by the clients, guests, agents, employees etc and will be charged the full cost of repairs.
