The Surrey Group has now completed their Woody Bay water tank project. The tank has been successfully test filled, a few joints need further caulking in the next couple of weeks and it will then be refilled ready for the start of operations later in March. The tank has also been painted matt black in accordance with the requirements of the planning permission.
 
Many thanks to Phil Rawstron, David Bradbury, Nick Brown and Peter Jones for their strenuous efforts in bringing this project to completion; to Les Driver for assisting with machining and welding up couplings for the pipework; and to Paul Gower for advice and encouragement. Thanks are also due to all the other Surrey Group members who have assisted with fundraising activities at shows, without which this project could not have been completed.
