We have attended six major events in the first half of this year. The funds raised were initially channelled towards completion of the Water Tank Project. However since we completed that job we have been able to divert our funds towards other ventures.

In particular following our annual outings to the Merstham Live Steam Show in May and 3 shows in July at Guilford Model Engineers at Stoke Park, Amberley Narrow Gauge Weekend and the Bluebell Toy and Collector’s Fair we have been able to sponsor £1500 worth of Trust projects. We have donated £1000 to The Axe Project. This will fund both safety valves for the loco and we have also contributed £500 towards the new toilet block, so we should be able to get a couple of ‘thrones’ for that.
