Santa Specials in Steam

Tony Nicholson was at Woody Bay this weekend, and was able to take these photos of the Santa Special train in action: 

1. Father Christmas welcoming the Santa Special train at Woody Bay today

2. The Santa Special train ready to depart from Woody Bay yesterday (Saturday), with a light dusting of snow on the station roof. The furthest carriage (Coach 4) is fresh out of the paintshop.

3. Axe running round its Santa Special train yesterday as a sharp frost hung in the air.
