Latest Update:
7th May

E762 Membership

Update: 25 August

A little bit later than had been hoped, but The 762 Club now has 175 members from a maximum of 350 - that's 50%!

Lyn Baldwin has already generously confirmed the sponsorship of the coal rails to celebrate reaching this milestone, so well done to one and all!

Now there's just another 175 members to recruit ...

Update: 12 August

Lyncentives 3 didn't QUITE reach its target - the 762 Club now has 174 members from a maximum of 350 - that's 49.7%!!

Perhaps, if the next membership can be secured very soon, Lyn Baldwin may still pay for the coal rails!...

Could YOU be the 50%-er!?

E762 Membership news.

Lyncentives 3 was launched earlier this month, and is close to helping the project achieve a notable milestone:

A 762 Club member posted this on Exmoor-NG earlier today:

Membership now stands at 170! Just 5 more to go and 50% of memberships will have been taken up.
If we get those 5 more by midnight BST 31 July (just 3 days to go), then Lyn
Baldwin will pay for the coal rails!
C'mon folks - don't let Lyn down!!! :)

Engineering Designer Mike Nelson who has been engaged to produce the CAD drawings required for the E762 LYN Project  has recently updated his web page.  Click here to read and to see more of Mike's work on the Lyn Project.

Here are some screenshots as a taster of Mikes output.

If you want to see the latest drawing you will need to download and install SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer 2011 and then download Mike's latest Edrawing of the loco assembly model.    You will then be able to view a breakdown of the component parts as well as rotate the model through 360 degrees. Marvellous!
