Work in Progress - Thursday 9th January

The first Thursday work party for the new year saw a good turnout of local and not-so-local volunteers. Axe was in steam, operating a number of mileage accumulation running-in turns to Killington Lane and back, both as a light engine and with a train of coaches.

Meanwhile the volunteers continued the outdoor work with a variety of jobs ranging from painting wood treatment to the new toilet access path fence, scrub removal from the bank alongside the shed, and tidying much of the stored railway signalling equipment in the area at the back of the shed.
