TWO MWs for the L&B

The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Trust together with the 762 Club Ltd. is pleased to announce its next project:

Several years ago, the L&BR commenced work to build a replica of ‘YEO’ a Manning, Wardle locomotive that ran on the railway from 1898 until closure in 1935. This earlier project was put on hold until the construction of ‘LYD’ at the Ffestiniog Railway was completed and operational. More detail HERE

Our Remarkable Volunteers

Roger Bye - who collates the volunteers working hours - has sent us the second quarter summary and the annual summary of volunteer hours. These are only for the hours worked at the North Devon Sites.

Points to note:

12349 hours have been worked this year by 169 individuals, representing over 13 FTE and at the minimum wage valued at nearly £97k
