Surrey Group member David Pritchard has been passed on the railway in Devon, to be the first member of the Surrey Group who is a Driver.

Good progress is being made on the top for the water tank at Woody Bay.

The Surrey Area Group attended the 3 day Model Engineer’s Exhibition at Ascot between 7th & 9th September. It was our most successful event ever.

On Saturday 28th July, Phil Rawstron & Chris Dadson visited Isfield at the invitation of the Lavender Line to collect a substantial quantity of new and used signalling equipment, which were surplus to the railway’s requirements.

A busy weekend for the Surrey Area Group. We split our resources and attended two separate events held this weekend.

Over the weekend of Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July 2007, we once again attended this very popular event.

Over the weekend of Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th May 2007, we once again on hand with our Sales Stand at the Merstham Model Steam Show.

On Sunday 22nd April 2007, Phil Rawstron, Paul Gower and Chris Dadson attended the Bluebell Railway’s Collectors Fair at Horsted Keynes with the Surrey Group’s Sales Stand.
