Sales Stand Outings

These are the exhibitions and shows identified thus far that we plan to attend during 2016.......

  • 10/11 September - REC (Railway Enthusiasts Club) Exhibition at Woking Leisure Centre;
  • 16/17/18 September - Model Engineer Exhibition at the Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, Surrey

Please note that the dates detailed in our Tablet journal for the Model Engineering Exhibition are not entirely accurate.

We are seeking to supplement the above list with more Events and Exhibitions shortly.

We need some enthusiastic members willing and able to assist our existing volunteers to set up, man and dismantle our sales stand at the various railway related exhibitions and shows we attend. If you would like to actively support the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway in a practical way, please make yourself known at the AGM on the 5th March, or email our Group Chairman Barry Marshall (link sends e-mail).

Tablet Magazine

Members of the L&BR Trust who are members of the Surrey Support Group should have now received our latest ‘Tablet’ journal (issue No.59). Unfortunately, our regular editor is currently medically indisposed which has presented some difficulties in publishing the latest issue. Should there be any members who have not received their copy of Tablet No.59, please report the problem to our Group Chairman Barry Marshall. (link sends e-mail)

Membership of the Surrey Support Group is free to all members of the L&BR Trust who reside in or immediately around the County of Surrey. Please email Barry Marshall (link sends e-mail) if you would like to become a member.
