Single Fares are also available.

Groups - Discounts are available for passengers travelling in groups. You can also book your own train or hire the railway for your own event. Please contact the railway for further details.

Push-chairs -  We regret that due to space constraints, push-chairs and buggies cannot be accommodated on trains, however there is space for them to be left at the station at the owners’ own risk.

Mobility Impairment -  All our normal service trains have space for customers with mobility impairments, including at least one wheelchair space. A wheelchair ramp is normally carried and available to help with access to the trains – please ask a member of staff.

Wheelchairs 30” wide or less can be accommodated on the train. Those with larger chairs may wish to contact the railway in advance to discuss arrangements.

Although we can accommodate wheelchairs on our trains due to the narrowness of our carriages there is no turning space on the train .

See our Accessabilty Statement for more details.

No Smoking Policy - In line with the majority of heritage and main line railways, the L&B operates a site-wide no smoking policy.  We have a legal duty to comply with the law so please assist us by refraining from smoking whilst visiting our railway.

“I just loved all the enthusiasm of the people running the railway and station.” - Mrs Valerie Watts, Swindon, Wiltshire
