Woody Bay Station will be open every day - apart from Mondays and Fridays - throughout July
In line with current UK GOV guidelines we are thrilled to be able to welcome back visitors. Fortunately, we have lots of space at Woody Bay Station which means that our visitors can easily maintain social distancing should they wish.
As the highest station in Southern England, Woody Bay station is a very well ventilated site with plenty of open space for our visitors.
Although Covid-19 restrictions are being relaxed, if you wish to retain social distancing, this can be practised with little difficulty.
As our site is predominantly outdoor, masks have only ever been required in our shop and tea-rooms. Although no longer mandatory, visitors may continue to wear masks in these areas, should they wish.
Hand sanitisers will remain in position around the station and visitors are welcome to continue using them.
Our Victorian carriages will continue to be 'fogged' with an antiviral spray each morning.
Also, whilst some of our compartments are open to their neighbours, there are others that will remain quite separate.
