November 10: Remembrance Sunday
When the railway honours the sacrifices of the fallen of past wars with a service of remembrance including a two-minute silence at 11am. Last train leaves Woody Bay at 3-00pm.

December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 - 24: Santa Specials
Every child wants to see Santa at Christmas but busy shops with long queues and hour-long waits to see Santa can quickly drain your Christmas cheer. So come to Woody Bay, were you can enjoy FREE parking and meet Santa where you can get into the real Christmas spirit and enjoy a truly magical experience. December 29, 30, 3I - January I: Mince Pie Specials
Had enough of too much television and being being stuck indoors over the festive period? Come to Woody Bay and blow the cobwebs away. Always plenty of seats available on our Mince Pie Specials so no need to book - just turn up. A real coal fire awaits you. Enjoy a relaxing trip back in time in our vintage railway carriages behind one of our beautifully restored steam engines, over glorious Exmoor.  Every passenger receives a mince pie with our compliments.

Dogs on trains: We welcome well behaved dogs and their owners on our trains and dogs may travel FREE provided that their owners have purchased a ticket and other passengers do not object. We only ask that for reasons of hygiene dogs are not allowed on the seats or in 1st Class.
