Once again, Chelfham Station will be open to all visitors over the Autumn Gala weekend.

1. Visitors will be able to view the latest restoration progress around the site.

2. Recently some colour has been added to the garden areas around the building.

3. L&BR No. 54, the ex MOD bogie open wagon is stored on the down siding at Chelfham.

4. Good progress with the signal cabin restoration.

5. Graham, Peter and Dave are busy fixing and painting the final sections of the new panelling.

6. Almost complete. The cabin, relocated onto its original position earlier this year, now has new full height front doors.

Free admission (donations welcome)

Visitors can also enjoy a trackbed and woodland walk including a new widened level path above the Valley Cottage section.

Refreshments (teas, coffees, cake and biscuits) will be available both Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 - 18.00.
