This year's gala, 'Narrow gauge, the wider story' exceed all our expections. Thank you to all those who came along and enjoyed the spectacle.
The weather was kind, vistors flocked in their many hundreds, the atmosphere was lovely and the 10 visiting and home engines meant that this Railway 200 celebration was one to remember.
Of course this would have been impossible without the dedictaion and the long hours put in by our ever hard working staff, our stoic volunteers across all areas, the gala planning commitee, the visiting loco owners and crews, the real ale and BBQ teams, the marquee retailers, our friends from Yeo Valley Trust / Exmoor Associates, the visting model railway operators, the entertainers, the traction engine & vintage car owners, the sponsors and, the team over at Chefham.
Special recognisition must also go to our General Manager, Stuart Nelhams, who's tireless dedication to the railway helped make the gala the stunning success that it was.
