For around the price of a cup of coffee or a pint per month you can directly help the railway you love.
Our General Manager’s Fund is used to buy or replace essential tools, it funds smaller volunteer projects and it helps fund really useful things that keep us running and thriving.
For example it funded the restoration of our permanent way box van, meaning hours saved on site for the track gang. It funded a new mover, powered wheelbarrow and strimmer, used by our grounds team to keep our sites in tip-top condition. The fund also purchased new fishplate oil and a backpack which has reduced this critical maintenance job from weeks to just days.
By donating regularly to the fund you can be a real part of the last great narrow-gauge adventure and know that you’re making a tangible difference to our very special railway.
You can make a one off donation using credit / debit cards and PayPal or, set up a regular monthly payment of £5 or more via a Direct Debit. Don't forget to claim Gift Aid, it means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate!
