In light of the Emergency Alert issued by the UK government this evening we have taken the precautionary decision NOT to run steam trains from Woody Bay station on Saturday 15th August 2026.
Being located on Exmoor we have a responsibility to our neightbours and moorland - as such we will be running a limited diesel service so visitors can still enjoy Woody Bay station, its facilities and the stunning views of Exmoor.
We will update for Sunday 16th August taking account of official advice and we hope our visitors understand this decision.
