Thank you for supporting our railway

If you are unsure if you have done this previously, please do it now as it helps us to keep our records up to date. If this is your first Gift Aid declaration please read the Additional Information about Gift Aid section before selecting the Gift Aid option.

Donations - You can of course give more than the amount quoted. Any additional sum, if unspecified, will be treated as a "donation" towards general funds.

Legacies - We would also be pleased to let you know how to benefit the Trust with a legacy. If you are interested, please contact us at [email protected] and we will send you more details.

Member's Benefits

Unlike some railway organisations, being a "Member" makes you a joint owner of the railway and gives you the right to attend and vote at the Company's Annual General Meetings. More importantly as a Member you will be playing an active part in the fantastic project that is the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway.

Trust Members also receive our award-winning magazine as well as frequent Newsletters to keep them updated with the latest happenings around the railway.

The Members Magazine: This is published three times a year, and is well Illustrated with both rare historical articles and photos. As well as evocative drawings and paintings recapturing the atmosphere of the line as it was, there are also modern images and stories about the line and its current operation.

Newsletter: The L&B Trust Newsletter is only available to Members and is published several times a year.

In addition to the above, access is permitted to the Members Only pages of the staff website where there is more detailed news as well as behind the scenes stories.

Volunteering: Members are encouraged to volunteer for a single morning/afternoon, a day, a week or for as many months or years as you like! Remember too that not all volunteering is done in North Devon. For example this website is administered by a volunteer from Kent!

Area Groups: Most Members of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Trust are not based in Devon and not just from the UK, but also the rest of the World.
