Bideford Railway Heritage Centre

The centre manages both Bideford station and Instow signal box, both on the old "Tarka Line" from Barnstaple to Bideford.

Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways

Welsh Narrow Gauge - The workshops at Boston Lodge recently built LYD - a replica L&B Manning Wardle locomotive, as well as the underframes for the L&B heritage carriages.

Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway

Also built by Sir George Newnes, the cliff railway is an excellent example of Victorian engineering still in daily use today.

West Somerset Mineral Railway

The West Somerset Mineral Railway Project is run by a consortium of local and national partners under the leadership of the Exmoor National Park Authority. It received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund in December 2007 for a programme which was completed in summer 2010.
