11th November: The Members Meeting will once again be held in the Music Room at Woolhanger Manor See http://www.weddingsatwoolhanger.co.uk/ courtesy of the owner Mr Graham Mellstrom.

As this is a members only event, please bring along your L&B Membership Cards.

During the commissioning of LYN - in the run up to the gala - it was discovered that the turnouts at the Barnstaple end of Killington Lane have short lead-ins and a tight crossing angle - too tight a radius for LYN to negotiate safely. Consequently, run-rounds with LYN at Killington Lane have not been sanctioned until this pair of turnouts are replaced for something more suitable.

Regret there will be no more Footplate Experience days until AXE returns to service after undergoing a 10 year overhaul. Hard to believe but AXE has been in service now for 10 years!

Also, Footplate Rides regret these will be available only as "pay on the day".

Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Buttons

The L&B has the opportunity to have a batch of uniform buttons made as exact replicas of the original 25mm diameter version.

As well as being a very attractive and collectable item, they will also add the finishing touch to Guards, Porters, Drivers, Firemen, Station Masters and other staff uniforms.
