With the uncertainty regarding the granting of planning permission by Exmoor National Park behind us, now is the time to make a share purchase.

The share offer is still open, but only for the short period until negotiations are completed - so if you intend to join us, please leave it no longer.

Alternatively, if you have thought about supporting the acquisition of the Old Station House Inn but do not wish to buy shares, why not make a donation - all support is appreciated.

L&B Exeter Garden Rail Show 27th October 2018

Unsurprisingly, not all volunteer work takes place at Woody Bay as this report - provided by Anne Belsey, of the several L&B volunteers who attended the Exeter Garden Rail Show on Saturday 27th October 2018 to fly the L&B flag - amply illustrates.

The Exeter Garden Rail Show is the second largest exhibition in the country for the exponents of garden steam railways, most of which are based on British narrow gauge practice. It was therefore entirely  appropriate, to use the occasion to exhibit the L&B's plans for the future.
