After closure, the station was converted into a private house.
The station site was purchased by Exmoor Associates in 2020. They are in the process of restoring the site.
Exmoor Associates hold occasional open days for their shareholders - see their website for details.
The station opened in 1898, and closed, along with the rest of the railway, in 1935.
Bratton Fleming was equiped with a small goods yard and a passing loop. The loop was removed as a cost saving measure in 1931, and the Chelfham/Bratton and Bratton/Blackmoor sections combined into a single Chelfham/Blackmoor section.
From September 1904 to his retirement on 30th September 1931 the stationmaster was John James Baker - the longest serving Stationmaster on the L&B. Mr Baker had previously served as the stationmaster at Chelfham from 6th June 1898. He still frequented Bratton Fleming station after his retirement, and was photographed there on the last day of operation, and also at Blackmoor handing over the station books to the Porter in Charge on Sunday 29th September 1935.
