A Record August for the L&BR

The L&BR has recorded its best ever performance for the month of August, beating our previous record results.

Overall takings were up by over 60% and the number of passengers carried was over 13,000, an increase of 26%.

The Trustees and Directors would like to record their thanks to all our staff and volunteers, in whatever their role, for the work put in to achieve this outstanding record in difficult times.

Our thanks also to the many visitors that helped to make this happen.

Perhaps we can hope for further record breaking event at the forthcoming Autumn Gala?
