Having arrived safely in Essex, the carriage body has been lifted using our steel jacking system allowing the wooden body to be chocked up in position.
Once the jacks had been removed the complete solebar on the on the weather damaged side could then be lowered for repair.
The damaged section has now been replaced and the complete solebar will then be reinstated ready for the body to be lowered back in place onto the steel underframe.
