Work continues on Carriage No. 9 at the East Group’s workshop, much currently being the repetitive work of making many identical parts for the seats and other internal fittings of the carriage.
Dave Ely has constructed new clamps for laminating roof beams and other parts.
Youngest volunteer at the workshop is John Irons who has helped out during the school holiday period, accompanied by his father.
