Work progresses steadily on the reconstruction of coach 9.
The 3rd class seats are nearly complete.
A new press has been made for laminating the roof beams.
Dave Ely can be seen routing one of the roof beams.
All the internal cladding has been completed and is in store, having received up to six coats of paint.
The order of the wood for the sides and ends of the coach is about to be placed. The wood used is Iroko, a hardwood of high density which is very resistant to rot due to the natural oils and resins within it.
