Fencing surveying south of Blackmoor

As part of our ongoing work to maintain and fence the railway’s land, we recently carried out a survey on our land south of Blackmoor.

Over the weekend of 26 & 27 July the proposed fence lines between Bridge 54 at Pound Lane and Bridge 55 on Bridwick farm were surveyed in position by volunteer member Aubrey Turner, assisted by CIC director Clive Robey and Trustee John Barton.  The location of the farm crossing was also agreed with the owner of the adjoining land, as well as proposals to for protecting the foundations of Bridge 55 where water erosion has taken place.

We plan to carry out this fencing and civil engineering work later this year.
