The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway has a staff vacancy for an experienced and knowledgeable engineer/fitter to join our team who refurbish, maintain and repair our steam locomotives, rolling stock and machinery.
The successful candidate will help us conduct operational inspections of all our mechanical infrastructure and keep accurate records.
Health & Safety are especially important so candidates will need to be conversant with current regulations and show evidence of a positive attitude to safe working practices.
The role requires someone with good interpersonal skills who must be able to build good working relationships with other staff and volunteers.

The role is based at Woody Bay Station.
